Patricia Garfield, Ph.D., was an internationally known dream researcher and lecturer. She is the author of The Healing Power of Dreams; Women's Bodies, Women's Dreams; Your Child's Dreams; and Pathway to Ecstasy. 2024 marked the fiftieth anniversary of the publication of her classic bestseller, Creative Dreaming, which was first published in 1974. She is one of the Founding members of the Association for the Study of Dreams (now IASD) and was president from 1998 - 1999. She passed away in 2021.
